Hi, My name is Tayn and I am currently a member of Eryndor in Northern Ohio and am entering my 4th year in Dagorhir.
As a senior in high school, I am in the process of picking out my college for next year and have recently been accepted to Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO.
I am just trying to get a feel for the Dagorhir scene in the region so I figured I would drop in and say hi. So yeah, hi *waves*
More so than introducing myself, I was also hoping to get a few questions answered about Dagorhir in Colorado. My first question was on where Mordor has established realms and units. On the national dag site it has Ft. Collins listed as a region that Mordor is located. But after browsing your websites, I couldn't find the specific unit that was in the area and was wondering if someone could tell me if they are still around.
My second question was just what is the dag scene like in Colorado? How many people are in Mordor, what's the weather generally like for practices at various times during the year? For the larger western events like Gates, how many people generally attend?
Beyond that, anything you think might be useful in introducing me to dag on the western half of the US is helpful. I've heard from some people that the culture is different and was just curious as to what it was like.
I hope to meet some of you guys at Rag this summer if I do indeed end up at Colorado State. I am very excited about joining a new dagorhir community!
Thanks,
Tayn
