Hello everybody. This is Curly, i currently fight for Muxlovia (a realm in Illinois near Chicago) but i am going to college in Fort Collins starting in august. I do not want to stop fighting once i leave home though so i was wondering what i would have to do to join your realm once i come out for school.
Also does anyone know of public transportation between Fort Collins and Loveland, i assume there is some but i don't know anything about it.
One last thing, if it's alright with you i would like to stop by this sunday and fight for a little bit. I am going to be in Colorado for about a week registering for classes and I want to be able to meet the realm i could be fighting with during the school year.

I'm not even from the chapter Mordor but I can tell you just to show up. That's always cool. Bring ID and sign a waiver and I'd bet that's all you'll need to do. Bring some weapons and garb too, that always helps.

Curly, Good to hear from you, thanks for posting. Shadus is right, there are no special requirements to fight with Mordor, just come to the park and sign a waiver. We do love garb and weapons, so if you have them, bring them, but if you don't have them, no worries. You're still welcome. About transportation; www.ci.fort-collins.co.us/transfort/maps.phpHere's what I found there; FoxTrot - Fort Collins - Loveland connection (Mon-Sat, Year Round) Mordor plays on Sundays... the only day the buses aren't running to Loveland. What a bummer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This Sunday the 11th, Mordor will be meeting at the Cannon park in Loveland around 1 to 2 PM. The next 2 Sundays ( the 18th and the 25th ) practice attendance may be slim. A good number of us will be driving/flying to Ohio for Ragnarok ! But we'll be back on Sunday July 2nd, and we will be meeting at Namaqua Park in west Loveland. There may or may not be a BBQ that day. We look forward to seeing you

Is loveland within reasonable biking distance from CSU? Because I'm crazy enough to try.

It would be about 13 miles one way I personally wouldn't do it, but I know people who have done it in the past. How long have you been up here ? If you aren't adjusted to the altitude, or if you are a smoker, then I wouldn't recommend it. I don't know what I'm doing this Sunday, but Maybe I can pick you up Promise you aren't an ax murderer ?

Well i'm not in Colorado yet but i will be getting there on friday, unfortunately i wont be able to come and fight on sunday because thats when class registration is. I thought it was on saturday but i was mistaken, which sucks cause i would have liked to meet you guys. When i come back in mid august i will be staying for most of the year (not counting holidays) untill school is out. Hopefully that will give me time to aclimate to your crazy mountain air, but 13 miles would be quite the bikeride... do you know of a train that runs between Fort Collins and Loveland? I did a little searching but i didnt see any. And i promise i am not a crazy axe murderer. I'm a Spearman

Well, Welcome to Beautiful Sunny Colorado ! Fort Collins is a great town, I love it up there. Old Town is awesome. The college is sweet. I think you'll like it here.
No, there isn't a train, I wish that there was. I wish there was a train going to down to Denver too. We could really use it to lighten up the congestion on I-25.
Are you flying here ? Sorry that we won't get to see you this weekend. I look forward to meeting you in August though.
Enjoy your weekend !

Glad that you liked CSU ! Did you go downtown at all ?
If your weapons don't take up too much space, you can store them in my trunk, or maybe with another one of the fighters here.
Let us know when you get to town !

Yeah, Old Town was great. Althought it the distance to my dorm from Old Town may be kinda far for someone who's had a few...
