Hey guys long time no post. I have a question that I am going to post here cause it seems that OGR is the only one that replies on the national board anyway [thanks OGR:)]. I have a question about leather supplies manily where to get them. I have decided to make my own leather armor, and people are looking for gift ideas for me but don't know what to tell them. So I guess the question is does anyone know where I could get a 'starter' leather working tool kit (or at least a list of tools I will need), a good place to get leather, and a good place to get rivets (I really want to tap set rather than pop the rivets). If anyone could give me any info that would be great. Viva la Mordor.

I apologize, I usually try to keep up with the national boards better than that. Best place for starter leather working tools....hmmmm...Tandy Leather, Hobby Lobby sells some nice ones too, so does Michael's craft center (although their selection is a bit limited and sold out quite often). I'll talk more with one of my friends back east that does leatherworking for a living and see what he suggests. I'll try to get back to you sometime tomorrow with some answers.
Keep Well, Petal
