After our chapter is launched we would all like to gather in the great name that is Dagorhir and bash our brains out over a weekend. Or maybe all meet and swarm through the Ren fair. Let us know, our members are stoked for Dagorhir, and it is in part thanks to your members that fought with us, and Mordor is the inspiration for us to begin our own chapter. Mordor rules.

Thanks Ogrebane. We miss you. So good to hear that you are starting a chapter in Denver !! Give us some details ! How many people ? What's the name ? When do you meet for practices ? A Ren fest invasion sounds great. In the meantime, Please please please come to the Colorado Medieval Festival in Fort Collins next weekend !!! www.coloradocastle.com/coloradocastle/We'll have our own booth there and everything.

Hey Cryn, do they actually have any pernament structures? Or is it just an open field?

They just built a gate, ticket booths and a wall around the area. I hear it will be painted castle style. I also think I heard there will be a stage for the demo's , but I'm not sure if I'm remembering right. I can't wait to see it ! I'll take pictures to post so you can see how it turned out

The group has 11 members so far, the other people that have indicated intrest have not confirmed yet. The members are; Ogrebane (myself ) Tisha, Fergus, Shamus (changing persona), Aaron Shadowhawk, Rodentta, Angus the Black, Matias, and three mundanes that have not yet picked a name Rachel, Nikki, and Robert. The chapter will be called Rowanoak, and our banner is a blood red field, with a white tree, crowned in a white band, with three red blood drops. We will be trying to meet on a non-Sunday so we will have the oppurtunity to fight with you all on occasion as well. Can't make it next weekend, I have to work, earning all that $$$ for Rag. Chat with you later. TTFN.

Dkini just called me today with an idea for a Halloween crossover event. He'll be at the Loveland Mordor practice on Sunday, maybe you should get in contact with him.
I'm currently in Michigan for a great job, and I don't know how long I'll be gone for. I might be back by Halloween, but I just can't say for sure.
Good luck getting something together, I wish I could lend a hand. I recommend that you make an invitation to Amtgard and Castle Wall and other medieval groups in the Front Range.

With summer nearly here, we are planning to open the fields of Rowanoak, and are currently planning a spring war. More news to come, it will be open to all realms kingdoms and groups and will be using only Dagorhir rules.
Keep an eye on our website for information to come.

Sweet, keep me updated ! One request though, please don't call it Spring War. 2 other groups (Belegarth and Amtgard) already have annual established events that go by that name. Belegarth draws well over 400 people at theirs. I already get confused about which event people are referring to. You're great with names, I'm sure you have a more unique name swimming in your head already
