All right guys, it's time to start planning for Ragnarok again !
Who's going from Colorado ?
How many vehicles ?
Anybody have extra seats ?
Azien and I will be going in my Acura. We're leaving early to go to Armegeddon/ Michigan before Rag. We'll be camping with the Dark Angels. As far as I know, the Dark Angels are running a closed camp this year. Only DA and DA by injection will be camping with us. (We'll see if that actually happens though.)
Do you guys have certain plans for Mordor's camp ? Are there people who are welcome to camp with you there ?

Eryndor is running weapons check this yearThat link will take you to their discussion about it. They are in need of volunteers. Last year weapons check was waaaaaaay understaffed. Did anyone from Mordor help out ? I didn't notice any of us down there. Which makes me feel guilty, I know we send a lot of weapons thru. They need about 50 people every day. I guess that for every 5 people we have in Mordor, we are asked to send 1 weapons checker every day. And those checkers need to have attended the weapons checking class at the beginning of the week. Even if you've been playing for 6+ years, you still need to attend the class. Dalmar, since you are the assistant of Mordor and in charge of weapons check here, I think it would be wonderful if you volunteered at least 4 days this Ragnarok. I will also be there 4 or more days. BGA, Nameless, anyone else ? Let's show people that Mordor isn't "lazy". We all enjoy Ragnarok immensely, it's only fair that we give back to the whole. I think we should also volunteer for other things to help Rag. They are predicting over a 1000 attendants this year. The people who organize the event are going to be ridiculously overworked. If we all help out it will make it a better event for everyone.

Yeah i have no problem volunteering, but dont be surprized if i try to skirt outta there to catch the tail end of the main event lol.... im sure i can drag a few otheres down there with me allso. I support volunteering for everything we can, Mordorians who are Hungry should work for Botch's Kitchen, Mordorians who are Tired from fighting should herald for a bit before walkin up the moutain, ect ect.... Im not saying break out backs ( well the admins should..) but lets definetly make a difference. I vaugley remember a few mordorians down there everynow and then, Mainly Squick and Nameless i beleive, I allso helped with the Arrows and bows untill the battle got going.... Its not that were lazy its just that no one ever really notices us =)

Guys, they will be holding a CPR/First Aid certification class at Ragnarok this year ! I'm going to budget so I can take it. Is anyone in Mordor currently certified in this area ? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From the National Dagorhir Board; Posted by Dregan; OK, guys. I got the go-ahead from the rest of the Rag planning group. Tenatively, I have an AHA instructor available for a class at Rag. Here are the tenative specifics: Time/Location/Day is TBA. Probably Sunday, but not definate Cost will be ~$40/person. I am negotiating for a discount. This is cheaper than the ARC class. you WILL recieve full, real, genuine CPR/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association (some people were worried about that...) Said certification would be valid for two (2) years instead of 1 with the ARC. There may be more developments with what the instructor can provide for us (ie, maybe a full-time on-the-job first responder and med station) - NO GAURANTEES YET. If there's a way we can swing this though, it would put right up there with the BIG events as far as medical coverage goes. I'll keep everyone posted. The original thread on the Dagorhir UBB

Eryndor would like everyone to read thru their Weapons check outline for Ragnarok this year. This way you can have a heads up as to how you should make/remake your weapons so they can pass ! Per the website; "This process flow diagram is only important if you are interested in the inner-working of a large scale weapons checking process. If you are new to weapons checking, this is likely to confuse you more than help you. For those of you who have seen the Ragnarok weapons checking process first hand, this diagram should feel familiar (and it may add some insight into how the process works!)." I love their headers...

Indigo and I are planning on going to Rag from Misty Mountains, we may be bringing a third. We will be taking one car and if our third confirms we wont have any extra seats. We are planning on attending all 7 days. See everyone there.

From the Dagorhir National Board;
thought I would give you all a little something to look forward to, as Rag is now 2 months away:
Ragnarok XXI - The Wars of Beleriand! Rag Wednesday - the festival of archery (bring your helmets)
[glow=red,2,300]Also, please start now to make sure your garb is up to minimum standards, and everyone in your unit has an appropriately colored headband set(red, blue, green, white, black).[/glow]
