Though it has been a long time since anyone out here has seen hide nor hair of Da Jhur Gah (Minus Wasad and Koobok's epic Rag appearence), it does still exist and may just very well be getting some renewed blood and sweat this year. Sadly Koobok is no longer in Colorado to help me admin the chapter (and might not even if he were here, sorry Koobok.) but I will be giving it a good orcish DO anyway. Membership is rocky and the chapter armory is looking pretty shabby but if any of you are in Boulder give me a grunt. Email is best. matphat@yahoo.com
Look forward to barshin' some of you this summer.
Soong.

!!!! YAY !!!! *Happy Dance*
So happy to see that you're back !! What day will you be holding practice in Boulder ?
Rag XXII is going to be soooooooo awesome this year.
CW is Chaos Wars, It's the main western Belegarth event of the year. A week long, and held in Idaho sometime in August. I'm trying to hitchhike there with some of the eastern Belegarth folks who make the drive west. But if we had enough colorado people, maybe we can carpool ourselves.

It is official, Dopp made the deposit on the site today. We have the Bannock County Fairgrounds for the site. The dates will run Aug. 6th through Aug. 12th. We have not paid for any early camping on Aug. 5th. That day will be used for set up of necessary event stuff, however it will be available if there are a few earlybirds. Cool stuff about the site:
* partially shaded battlefield (especially in AM up to about noon) * plenty of shaded seating for spectators * shaded camping sites, preference will be given to those with small children and pregnant wives. * RV hook ups and an area for those of us who are more noisy * area to have one main bonfire, close to noisy camp * Electricity available in both camp areas * Potable water available in camp * Plenty of restrooms all around site * On site showers unlimited use, no extra fees. * Less than 1 mile from 5 major hotels * two blocks from my house.
If you need any other specifics about the site, please ask Sir Wharghoul. Those of us that looked at the site all feel that is is going to be awesome.
I can gaurentee y'all a very good time. There is both a quiet and a loud camp, we are usually at the center of the loud camp. We can make sure you eat, drink, and be merry.

Wow, awesome. I'm in the middle of working out details about Rag, I'm hoping to make it epic since it's my first rag since X. CW sounds like an awesome idea. Maybe I can do both.

Pocatello is closest, there is also a shuttle from Salt Lake to pokey, it's 35$ one way. It costs a bit more to connect into pokey, but there are lots of folks coming up from Salt Lake area, so if you need a ride, we can arrange it. Western Uruk-Hai number around 30 at CW so getting somewhere with a vehicle to pick y'all up would be no prob. Let me know what you are doing and we will make arrangements to get you there and back again.
