There is a good sized group of fighters in C Springs who play a game very similiar to Dagorhir; Melee. Megs and I visited them last weekend. Had an excellent time. Good people, good fighting. They meet every Saturday. The main difference are the weapons and shields, but they have loaners. www.myspace.com/meleecombat

Melee has a new location; www.meleecombat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1029Per Conrad; "After survey of the new land and topic of recruitment. We will start meeting and fighting in a new location. Pending any major objections from the Staff. Richard and I have set this as a GO so far. The new spot is straight North of where we fight now. Its right on the North East Corner of the Park. Right behind the Ice Skating Building and right behind the New Skate Park. (Union and Pikes Peak Corner) Parking is in front of the Ice Skating Building / Skate Park. Great New Location with FULL exposure to the skate park (Today had over 100 people there - ALL DAY) Now is winter time and the Skate Park is Full. The spring and summer will likely be overflowing. Which means they WILL come and check us out. Also it is better unused land than where we are now. Also we need to call and spread the word to All that play and have played to let them know!"

I highly recommend checking out Melee if you have not already!
As Cryn stated there are some differences, but there are plenty of loaner weapons, and the rules differences are easily understood.
I had a great time, and wish I lived closer so I could fight more!
